Vision, Values & Ethos

We take our trust values of Aspiration, Respect and Honesty very seriously. They underpin our routines, our curriculum, and what we strive to develop in our pupils.

We work hard on our culture in which the highest expectations and aspirations surround all of our pupils, delivering on our families’ demand for excellent educational opportunities. We expect our pupils to work very hard to meet the high expectations that the school and parents have of them. Our aim is that pupils who come to Queens’s Park Academy break through any barriers and achieve their full potential

At Queen’s Park Academy we all follow our Golden Rules. These are displayed all over the school and we regularly have assemblies that focus on them. The children are rewarded for showing behaviours linked to the golden rules: Be Kind, Be Safe and Be ready to learn.

We are proud of our “Sophie Test”. The Sophie Test is our guide to decisions we make about the school. Bluntly, if it is not good enough for our own children, then quite simply, it is not good  enough.
