Sustainability

By 2030 the government are helping schools become Net Zero - this means that our Carbon Footprint should reduce to 0%.

As a school we have been in contact with lots of different organisations to help with this goal and achieve a greener school!

• Biodiversity - planting flowers and making bug hotels to attract wildlife
• Planting trees - October 2026 we are working with Marston Vale to plant trees and bushes
• Reducing food waste
• A school uniform Swap Shop where parents can donate good quality uniform for other families to use
• Introducing a 'Switch Off' scheme
• We have a vegetable patch and garden area where we compost food waste and have a water butt
• Creating an Eco Warriors group of pupils to help us with our Climate Action Plan
